"Silent Scream": Women's Invisible Struggle Expressed Through Art

"Silent Scream" is more than just a decorative object. It is an artistic expression dedicated to violations of women's rights and carries deep meaning. At CraftStudioDesignTR, we designed this piece to shed light on the hidden face of violence against women and give a voice to the voiceless.

Every detail is an artistic response to gender-based violence, marginalization, and being pushed to the sidelines and silenced. The face's profound expression symbolizes fear, pain, hope, and resistance. The eyes gaze into the void, and the lips tremble slightly, symbolizing a silenced scream that finds expression through art.

The design process began with an initial sketch. The sketches were drawn by hand with an emotional intensity reflecting the woman's inner world rather than created using digital templates. Then, the bust was shaped by hand using eco-friendly polymer clay and natural stone powder. Layered modeling techniques were employed to convey the emotional layers of the face. This process can take hours or even days because every line and touch is deliberate and meaningful.

Instead of using quick-drying techniques, the sculpture is allowed to dry slowly in natural air during the drying process. This environmentally friendly process prevents cracking and requires patience. Then, the hand-painting stage begins. The colors are not random: matte and cool colors symbolize sadness, and light metallic touches symbolize inner strength.

Finally, a plant-based protective varnish is applied to show respect for nature and ensure the product lasts for years.
